Based on the appreciation of the wide range of photographs by Roque Antônio Juaquim, known as Roquinho, a player and observer of childhood culture, the project TRANSVENDO INFÂNCIAS appears in July 2020, where 08 visual artists, women, are invited to transve, re-read, and recreate works from the crossings that these photographs cause in their narratives.

The idea of the Project is to understand how the childhoods of each artist are found through the stories told through photographic records and what processes can arise through this intersection with the experiences of children, ladies, gentlemen, aspects of nature and community, present in photographs and mediated by materiality in art. They are artists with different trajectories, who work with multiple languages, from different parts of Brazil, but who are virtually in Minas Gerais territory, to unveil these processes.
